This is the 9th song I’ve started since I finished Null Breath Shaper. It started in 7/4 but then I switched it to 3/4. I keep trying to use fewer notes. As a song gets closer to completion I’m just taking notes out. Use 1 where I had 3.
The original plan for this song was that the third section would move into a major key, from D minor to D major. But the songs sort of develop a narrative of their own, so that didn’t end up happening. Fewer notes this way.
